This summer St. Anthony School will once again be promoting the importance of summer reading by encouraging students to participate in our Summer Reading Program “VOTE for Reading.”

This program is strictly optional and is intended to promote the importance of reading to our students.  Studies show that students who participate in summer reading programs are more likely to read at or above their grade level than students who do not participate.  In addition, students who are reading above their grade level are more likely to retain these skills into the next school year.

Parents should encourage children to read age appropriate materials for an average of 15 minutes each day.

Feel free to email any questions to the school librarian
