Financial Aid is available through the following sources.
Augustine Educational Foundation Tuition Scholarship
The Augustine Educational Foundation Tuition Scholarship Program provides tuition assistance to select students in grades K-12 in Hawaii Catholic Schools.
Limited financial aid is available through the Augustine Educational Foundation Tuition Scholarship (AEF) for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Deadlines & Dates
Application Window
The application window is from January 10, 2026 – March 1, 2026. Late applications WILL NOT be accepted.
Notification Window
April 23 – April 28, 2026
Applicants applying for grades K-12 will be notified via email if they will be awarded or not awarded a scholarship during this time period. We DO NOT notify preschoolers or junior kindergartners.
St. Anthony Church And School Scholarship
Limited financial aid is available through the St. Anthony Church and School Scholarship for students entering Preschool through 8th grade.
To apply for the St. Anthony Church and School Scholarship you must complete the following:

Kamehameha Schools Financial Aid:
Kamehameha Schools (KSBE) also provides financial assistance to students of Hawaiian ancestry. The Pauahi Keiki Scholarship is for students in Preschool. The Kipona Scholarship is for children entering 6th and 9th grade. To apply, you must be a resident of the State of Hawaii (Resided in Hawaii for the past 12 months).

Kamehameha Pauahi Keiki Scholars Early Learning: For Preschool children 3 years and older (must be born in 2021, 2022, or 2023).

Important notice: The Pauahi Foundation will sunset the Kipona Scholarship Program effective Sept. 15, 2025. This decision reflects careful consideration of how we can best steward our resources to meet evolving community needs and priorities.
What This Means:
Families of students currently receiving Kipona support may continue to reapply annually through the end of their eligibility period.
Keiki must progress to the next grade level
The re-application window for current Kipona recipients is Sept. 15-Dec. 1, 2025.
Applications for new students will not be accepted.
We recognize that this change comes after a period of significant program evolution, and we deeply appreciate your partnership, adaptability, and continued commitment to Hawai‘i’s learners. Schools will not be receiving the list of students who received an award letter, nor informed when we release payments to each family.

Kipona : Entry grade points are Grade 6 and 9.
Applications will be processed by FACTS.
Re-applications are accepted from September 15, 2025 - December 1, 2025.
PRESCHOOL OPEN DOORS
Preschool Open Doors (POD) promotes school readiness by providing child care subsidies to eligible families for the year prior to kindergarten. The Department of Human Services (DHS) administers the program. Families may choose from the 400+ DHS-licensed preschools.
Financial Assistance is available for qualified families with children who will be entering Pre-Kindergarten to support Kindergarten readiness. You can call 808-791-2130 on Oahu to request an application by mail or go to their website. Preschool Open Doors Applications opens July 1, 2025. Applications are being accepted for children born August 1, 2020 through July 31, 2022.
Applications must be received by POD on or before December 15, 2025.
Once selections are made, families and children could get services in January 2026 for the remainder of the POD school year (6 months), which ends June 30, 2026.
Families can use the application on our website or have PATCH send them one.

Important information For POD:
Income eligibility raised to 500% of the Federal Poverty Level
Families will now pay a low co-pay of just 1%–3% of tuition
Presumptive eligibility for families experiencing homelessness or domestic violence (up to 2 months without paperwork)
Starting January: 2-year-olds will be eligible for POD!
HAWAII CATHOLIC SCHOOLS SCHOLARSHIPS WITH SALEM MEDIA
Hawaii Catholic Schools Scholarships with Salem Media provides families, new to Catholic schools and who have not registered yet, the ability to purchase their first year’s tuition for half price at participating schools.
