✨ Back to School Blessings ✨
Educators from across our Catholic schools gathered for the Mass of the Holy Spirit with Bishop Larry Silva presiding, calling on the Spirit’s guidance for the year ahead. 🕊️ Following Mass, keynote speakers inspired us with thought-provoking insights on using AI in education—exploring how innovation and faith can work hand in hand to serve our students. 📚💡

✨🎶 Our school choir lifted their voices beautifully at the Hawaii Catholic Schools Mass of the Holy Spirit under the inspiring direction of Mr. Stern! 🙌 A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Stern and to the parents and teachers who helped transport our students to and from the venue. We would also like to thank the Hawaii Catholic Schools Office for their kind invitation and thoughtful gifts! It was a true blessing to be part of this special day!💙✝️

✨ A Beautiful Homecoming of Faith ✨
Yesterday, we had the blessing of sharing Breakfast with Bishop Larry Silva as he celebrated his baptism anniversary at the very church where his faith journey began. 💒🙏
From the waters of Baptism to shepherding our Diocese, Bishop Larry's life is a testament to God’s grace and the power of saying “yes” to His call. 🌊✝️

🌱✨ FACTS Seeds of Wisdom 2025 ✨🌱
Our St. Anthony School staff joined fellow experts and educators at the Koʻolau Ballrooms for a powerful day of professional learning at the FACTS Seeds of Wisdom Conference.
This year’s theme focused on closing opportunity gaps for students through culturally responsive teaching, tech integration, student-centered learning, and social emotional learning. 🌍📚
We left inspired, equipped, and ready to plant seeds of academic success and belonging in every classroom we serve! 💙❤️

🌿 Waikalua Loko I‘a Field Trip Highlights from Summer School! We will continue the learning this school year!
📚 Learning Moments:
• Students walked along the historic stone wall (kuapā) and learned about the mākāhā sluice gates that control water flow and allow fish like mullet and milkfish to be raised naturally.
Big mahalo to the Pacific American Foundation for your hospitality during our visit this summer!
Our students explored the water cycle by building creative models using sand, rocks, and natural materials—shaping mountains and digging trenches to mimic how rainfall flows through streams and rivers, eventually returning to the ocean.

Our 5th Graders are ready. Welcome to the new 5th Grade team, parents and 6th and 2nd Grade teachers at SAS!

🎉📚 Back to School Bash 2025! 🏫✨
Our St. Anthony School community kicked off the new school year with excitement and joy at our annual Back to School Bash! Students met their teachers and classmates, dropped off school supplies, and explored their new classrooms—setting the stage for a year full of growth and learning. 💙❤️

Dear Lord,
As our students begin a new school year,
I pray that you will keep them in your care.
Send your Spirit to open their minds
to all that is true and beautiful and good
Help them to see the gifts and talents
you have given them and to use them well.
Help them to grow in knowledge and wisdom.
Help them to be kind to others
and lead others to be kind to them.
Give their teachers patience and understanding
and help them teach what is just and true.
Send your angels to guide and guard our
children and to keep them from all harm.
Open their young hearts to your presence
and enfold them in your peace and protection.
Hold them in the palm of your hand
and bring them home safely at day’s end.
Amen.
